Work
with Grey OverlayThere are a number of things you can get organized while you're waiting for your Active LegalMedia website.
Get connected on LinkedIn
Set up a profile on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is like Facebook, but for professionals. You can set up a personal profile as well as a business page which not only helps to increase your online presence as a credible legal professional but can also generate business for your firm.
Get found with Google Places
Get your firm registered and verified with Google Places to make sure that your website shows up in local search results. When people make a search including a suburb or town, Google will very often show its map listings before any websites, so if you're not in their list you are missing out on potential new clients. It's important that you make your listing as comprehensive as possible, so fill out your opening hours, your methods of payment and make sure to write something about your practice in the description.
Drive traffic to your new website
The best way to let your clients and referrers know about your new website and the services you offer is to send them an invitation to check it out. Active LegalMedia has partnered with Lift Legal to make this easy for you. Lift Legal will write a short article about your firm and the new website (including a screenshot) and email it to your contact list. They will even track and report to you on who visited your new website.
Communicate with eNewsletters
You already know that sending client newsletters is a great way to keep in touch with your clients and generate more work. Would you like to automate the process? Active LegalMedia has partnered with Lift Legal to make this easy for you. Lift Legal will:
- Create a customised newsletter for your firm.
- Write the articles for you (you can edit them if you like).
- Send the articles by newsletter to your client list each month.
- Track & report to you on who opened and read the articles.
